1. Who we are

SuriLex is operated by Brightstack Information Technology Solutions, a Philippine corporation. These terms govern your use of SuriLex.

2. What SuriLex is

SuriLex is an AI-powered legal document analysis platform purpose-built for Philippine jurisdiction. SuriLex provides structured analysis to support professional judgment. SuriLex is not a law firm. SuriLex does not provide legal advice. SuriLex does not create an attorney-client relationship.

3. Account and roles

Access requires a valid Clerk account and active organization membership. Roles (owner, analyst, viewer) determine what each member may do; only owners may invite members or change billing.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use SuriLex to (a) upload documents you do not have the right to process, (b) attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or quota controls, (c) reverse engineer the analysis pipeline or scrape the product, (d) use SuriLex output as a substitute for licensed legal counsel.

5. Pricing and billing

Pricing is in Philippine Pesos as published on the pricing page. Subscription tiers (Agency Monthly, Agency Pro, Law Firm Starter, Law Firm Enterprise) renew every 30 days unless cancelled. Billing is handled by PayMongo; we accept GCash, Maya, QR Ph, GrabPay, DOB, BillEase, and credit/debit cards.

6. Quotas

Each subscription tier carries a monthly analysis quota and a seat cap. Quota usage is tracked per organization. Exceeding the quota requires either an upgrade or a new billing cycle.

An Analysis covers a single document up to the page cap of the active plan (50 pages on Agency Monthly and Agency Pro; 100 pages on Law Firm Starter; custom for Law Firm Enterprise). Documents exceeding the page cap consume additional Analyses from your active quota, rounded up to the nearest page-cap multiple.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of documents you upload. You grant SuriLex a limited license to process those documents to generate the analysis output. SuriLex retains all rights to the platform, prompts, evaluation harness, and underlying software.

8. Output disclaimer

SuriLex provides AI-powered legal document analysis to support professional judgment. SuriLex is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Users are responsible for all final legal decisions.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, SuriLex's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid SuriLex in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We will provide 30 days' notice before terminating a paid account for any reason other than a material breach.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [City of registered office, e.g. Cebu City], Philippines.

12. Updates

We will notify registered users by email of any material change to these Terms at least 30 days before it takes effect.
